Molded Teflon® PTFE expansion joints are designed for long life, extreme chemical resistance for chemical process piping and for use in HVAC piping and equipment systems. These versatile, very short face/face dimension connectors provide flexibility to compensate for piping misalignment and strength to absorb stresses at flanged connections. They will compress and extend axially to accommodate thermal expansion and contraction. They will deflect to absorb angular movement of piping or equipment and will absorb vibration caused by pumps, engines, and other equipment, thereby reducing noise and maintenance.
