Sanitary Connector Model 1464 flexible connector has a SILOFLEX silicone rubber liner and cover. It is constructed with 300 Series stainless steel convoluted bellows and wire reinforcing braid and stainless steel end fittings. It has a smooth inner surface with no entrapment areas. No ridges or crevices. And the transition from the lining to the stainless steel fitting is continuous. This makes these flexible connectors ideal for clean-in-place (CIP) systems since they do not have to be disassembled for cleaning. Sanitary connectors effectively isolate valuable pumps and equipment from piping movement and stresses. And they isolate piping from the vibration and noise of equipment.
